Change 02:04 13. Clouds 02:26 INFO Alex Giannascoli does something that the great artists have done for centuires - create music that feels like it's from a different universe. It's as if he lived in a parallel world where music once 1/5 different. He pulls from a place musically that I didn't know existed - making me challenge my beliefs on what good music is. The low-fi, beautiful nature of Trick shows itself in a multitude of ways. Seemingly simple at first, it draws you in with it's melodic undertones and strange harmonies. There were times when I considered the various ways he created the sounds that are on this record. I continue to find new ones to interact with this record after each listen. Thank God for artists like Alex G who continues to work towards new ways to create and perform music.
