O OURO DO PÀ DA ESTRADAA

Brazilian singer Elba Ramalho is still going strong  and maybe sounding better than ever, partly due to a matured quality in her vocals  which makes things sometimes sound deeper than in the early years! The style here is a mix of older forro elements with more contemporary touches  accordion a bit in the background on more numbers, surrounded by electric elements that emphasize some of the more soulful currents in the music  while the lady herself stands strongly in the spotlight. The set features guest appearances by Ney Matogrosso and Roberta Sa  and titles include "Girassol", "Calcanhar", "Na Areia", Princesa Domeu Lugar, "Oxente", "Setudo Pode Acontecer", and "O Mundo".
