Presenting music written by Roberto and Erasmo Carlos, “Meu Nome É Gal,” one of the greatest Brazilian singers, released her second solo album, “Gal,” in 1969. Produced by Manuel Barembein, this album returns to shelves as part of the “Classics on Vinyl” collection from Polysom.

Gal Costa's striking and unmistakable voice made it clear, even from her self-titled debut album, that she was one of the greatest talents in Brazilian music history. “Gal” is considered the most psychedelic work of her career, a fact that is even evident in the album cover. Composed of 9 tracks, she lends her voice to songs by major composers such as Jorge Ben Jor (“País Tropical” and “Tuareg”), Caetano Veloso (“Cinema Olimpia” and “The Empty Boat”), Jards Macalé and Capinam (“Pulsar e Quasars”), among others.
